Gel nail polish is applied in coats, the same as regular polish.  However each layer is 'cured' under an LED lamp, making it instantly dry.  The result is a long lasting, chip resistant, protective colour that, when applied and removed correctly, causes no lasting damage to the natural nail.  It can be a great way for nail bitters to break their habit and grow their nails.  Gel polish can be applied to hands and feet.
